Skeet and Trap Ranges
In skeet shooting, clay targets are launched from 2 “houses” or machines, 1 at each end of the field. The Shooters move in a semicircular pattern around 7 stations, shooting from 2 to 4 targets at each station. A round of skeet consists of 25 targets. Skeet helps develop hand/eye coordination, concentration, and most of all, respect for firearm safety whether alone or with a group. The sport of skeet is enjoyed by men and women from 11 through 80 years of age and beyond.

In trap shooting, the targets are launched from a single “house” or machine away from the shooter. Trap has 5 stations, with 5 targets being shot from each station; which is considered a round. Trap helps develop hand/eye coordination, concentration, and most of all, respect for firearm safety whether alone or in a group. The sport of trap is enjoyed by men and women from 11 to 80 years of age and beyond.
